5. External Services

SerpAPI (Google Maps Data)

To display business information and reviews, we use the SerpAPI service. Search queries are forwarded to Google Maps to show you relevant business information. Your IP address is not transmitted to SerpAPI.

Google LLC (Removal Requests)

In the course of contract performance – specifically, to process the removal requests you have commissioned – we transmit your master data via Google's Legal Removal form to Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Data Processed:

  • Name of the contact person
  • Company or organization name
  • Contact email address
  • URL of your Google Maps business listing
  • URL and content of the review to be removed

Legal Basis:

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) and the power of attorney granted in Section 7b of our Terms and Conditions.

Data Transfer to the USA:

Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; to the extent this certification ceases to apply, transfers are based on Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

Stripe (Payment Processing)

We use Stripe, Inc., 354 Oyster Point Blvd, South San Francisco, CA 94080, USA ("Stripe") for payment processing.

Purpose of Processing:

Stripe processes your payment data to securely handle credit card and SEPA direct debit payments. Your payment details are entered directly into a form provided by Stripe (Stripe Elements). Your complete card or bank account data is never transmitted to our servers.

Data Processed:

  • Credit card number, expiry date, and security code (CVC) - stored exclusively by Stripe
  • IBAN, BIC, account holder name, and SEPA mandate reference (for SEPA direct debit payments) - stored exclusively by Stripe
  • Cardholder / account holder name and email address
  • IP address and device information (for fraud prevention)

Legal Basis:

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure payment processing).

Data Transfer to the USA:

Stripe is a US company. Data transfer to the USA is based on Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). Stripe is also certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
